About Stjernholm Consulting
After working for five seismic companies over fifteen years, Ron decided to become a sub contractor and the business has expanded since that decision five years ago. Stjernholm consulting currently has a staff of 12 employees.
Experience
Each employee of Stjernholm Consulting has a minimum of five years experience as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, a valid drivers license, and a completed background check. They have all passed a DOT physical including drug tests, and they thrive in a field that provides a unique brand of medical support.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, each employee is able to provide additional manpower in the field when there are no medical problems. Most projects want the medic to have some HSE skills. It is easier to train a paramedic in HSE as opposed to training an HSE person in emergency medicine. Other duties could include water testing, taxi driving, on site orientation ect.
Harlem Globetrotters
Ron traveled with the Harlem Globetrotters for over twenty years as the Head Athletic Trainer and later a referee. Solely accountable for caring for day-to day injuries and illness and provided emergency, on-site care as necessary. Implemented training and preventative medicine programs, to drastically reduce the number of team injuries. Responsible for ordering all required equipment, including shoes, uniforms, medical supplies, etc.
Traveled with the team to over 120 countries and all 50 states, often entailing over 200 games per year.
Was involved with and performed with TV specials around the world, Wide World of Sports (14 times), movies The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island, and commercials (Coca-Cola).
